Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 August 2026. Stkvel handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

Account details such as your name and email address; circle details you enter, including member names, contribution amounts, payout order and payment notes; and technical data such as log and device information.

Why we collect it

To create and secure your account, provide circle record keeping, process subscription payments, send service emails from hello@stkvel.com, and improve the product.

Members you add

If you add other people to a circle, you are responsible for having their consent to enter their details. You may remove a member's details at any time.

Disclosure

We share information only with service providers who help us operate STKVEL, including our cloud hosting and database provider and Stripe for payment processing. Some providers store data overseas, including in the United States and the European Union. We do not sell personal information.

Security and retention

Data is stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security so only you and authorised members can read your circle data. We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal obligations.

Access, correction, complaints

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or ask us to delete your account, by emailing hello@stkvel.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
